This year, Mahjong Time is hosting a brand new type of contest for Global Mahjong Tournament (GMT) players! The contest will span the entire 2013 year, and will be divided into Mahjong style, for a total of 5 prizes (Hong Kong, MCR, Taiwanese, Riichi, NMJL).
The rules of the contest are simple: After each GMT the winner will receive 3 GMT points, 2nd place finisher receives 2, third place receives 1. Each player's point total is summed up and placed on a leaderboard, divided by style. Mahjong Time will announce leaders every month in the newsletter. At the end of the year, the player with the highest point sum in each style wins, for a total of 5 winners!
Note: In case of a tie, the player with the highest rating wins.
The winner receives 1 year of VIP membership at Mahjong Time and a special trophy!
