November 2014 Tournaments

GMT

Global Mahjong Tournaments are four-hour-long events, held every Saturday, that offer Mahjong Time members a chance to be ranked against each other in an official competitive environment. The GMT entry fee is only 100 Golden Coins ($1).

Important Note: To be eligible for this year’s bonus GMT prizes a player MUST:

Play the tournament using Mahjong Time EON
Be a Mahjong Time member

Madness

November was a great month for Madness tournaments with skilled and competitive Mahjong Time players fighting for their share of $500 in prize money over two events!

The Hong Kong Madness event this month featured 4 players competing for a $250 prize pool.
The winners of the Hong Kong event are:
1st- mikejade888 ($150)
2nd- once ($100)

The Taiwanese Madness this month featured 4 players and a $250 prize pool. The winners are:
1st- slack1 ($150)
2nd- mikejade888 ($100)

How to sign up: Players can participate in the Madness events directly, or by playing in Cash Games!
How the cash prizes are determined: The prize pool scales up by $250 for every 4 players that participate, for up to $1000 in winnings!

Remember, Crown members can receive seats for free:
Diamond Crown - For every 1,000 Reward Points you have earned 2 free satellite seats.
Gold Crown - For every 1,000 Reward Points you have earned 1.5 free satellite seats.
Silver Crown - For every 1,000 Reward Points you have earned 1 free satellite seat.

Zung Jung and Japanese Modern

Interested in trying interesting and unique rule sets? Check out Zung Jung and Japanese Modern All Dragons Tournaments, played on alternate Sundays. These events feature a 500 Golden Coin prize in addition to the regular Dragon Chip prize for Mahjong Time members! The entry fee is only 5,000 Dragon Chips, so don’t miss out on your chance to try these special rule sets!
