A: You need to add the user to your friends list and then you can send private messages to him/her.

A: Mahjong Time reserves the right to ban users who violate these standards, or who in any way abuses the community purpose of the chat areas.
1. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in any part on the Site.
2. Profanity, obscenities, or the use of **asterisks** or other "masking" characters to disguise such words, is not permitted.
3. Obscene, lewd, slanderous, pornographic, abusive, violent, insulting, indecent, threatening and harassing language of any kind will not be tolerated.
4. Site player names will be displayed as 'Your Name'; impersonating other players is not allowed.

Q: If I type a profane word in the Public Chat how long am I banned for? How does the system work?
A: The Auto-ban system was implemented in order to prevent any profane words reach the Public Chat and create a friendly atmosphere on our site. Here is the way the system works if players resort to any word that is in our profanity filter.
1. First Offense: Polite request;
2. Second Offense: Issue warning;
3. Third Offense: ban the user for 3 hours;
4. Fourth Offense: ban the user for 3 hours;
5. Fifth Offense: Issue second warning;
6. Sixth Offense: Ban the user for 24 hours;
7. Seventh Offense: Final warning;
8. Eighth Offense: Expulsion/Account Termination;
