Q: What is Advanced Avatar Shop?
A: Advanced Avatar Shop (AAS) is an advanced avatar creation system. It has been developed to replace the old system which had a limited number of preset avatars. ASS allows you to create easily your own unique avatar or upload a real photo. You will be able to customize all the parts of the human face: hair, eyes, nose, lips, etc.

Q: Who can use the Advanced Avatar Shop?
A: The full set of features is available for the VIP members of the Mahjong Time community. Free and Premium members can access this system by clicking the Customize Avatar button on the Home Page but the set of features is limited. Any of the created avatars cannot be saved or used.

Q: How can I access AAS?
A: For VIP members AAS is available by clicking the Change Image button on the Home Page. For Free and Premium members AAS is available by clicking the Customize Avatar button on the Home Page.

Q: Who can use the Advanced Avatar Shop?
A: The old avatar system remains unchangeable for Free and Premium members. AAS completely replaces the old system for VIP members.

Q: How many avatars can I create with AAS?
A: You'll be able to create and save up to 5 avatars. They include avatars created with AAS and your uploaded images.

Q: I'm a VIP member. Can I upload my own photo? How?
A: Yes, you are able to upload up to 5 images/photos. You can upload photos in the following way:

1. Open AAS
2. Click Manage Avatars.
3. Select slot where to save your uploaded image.
4. Click Upload.
5. Follow the instructions.

Q: Can I edit my uploaded photo with Advanced Avatar Shop?
A: No, the uploaded images are nor editable. You can edit only the avatars created with AAS.

Q: I have reached the maximum allowed avatars' number (5). What can I do to create one more avatar?
A: If there are already 5 saved avatars (maximum allowed number) the only way to save one more avatar is to delete an existing one. Follow the next steps to delete an uploaded avatar:

1. Click the Manage Avatars button.
2. Select avatar you want to delete.
3. Click the Delete button.

Q: I have more than one saved avatar. How can I switch between them?
A: To set any of your avatars as default:

1. Open AAS
2. Click Manage Avatars. The Currently used (default) avatar is highlighted.
3. Select any avatar you want to use
4. Click the Make Default button.

Q: Can I access AAS during the game?
A: No, you can not access AAS while playing but you can switch between your saved avatars during the game.

Q: How can I switch between avatars while playing?
A: If you are in a game, click on the icon with your avatar. You'll see a drop down menu with two options:

User Info and Manage Avatars. Click Manage Avatars to open the Manage Avatar window, select a saved avatar and click the Make Default button.

Q: How to save my new created avatar?
A: If you have created a new avatar click the Save button, located on the left. Your avatar will be saved to the free slot for avatars.

Q: How to create my own avatar?
A: Create your own avatar in the following way:

1. Click the Change Image button located on the Home Page. The Advanced Avatar Shop will open.
2. Click the New button located on the left.
3. Select the Character you would like to customize.
4. After you have selected the Character you are ready to change all the parts of the avatar.

Q: How to add an element to the avatar?
A: Select the part (at the bottom) you want to add and choose the concrete element (on the right). Double click or drag and drop it in the central part of the AAS.

Q: How to delete an element from the avatar?
A: First select an element you want to delete.

Choose one of the 2 possible ways to delete it:
1. Click the Delete This Element button located on the top.
2. Click the Delete button on the keyboard.

Q: I cannot delete some elements from my avatar. What is wrong?
A: There some elements on the avatar that are not removable. These are: face, nose, eyes, lips, hair and background. These elements cannot be completely removed from the avatar; they can only be replaced with elements of the same type.

Q: How to replace an element with another of the same type?
A: To replace an existing element with another simply select the element you would like to add, double click or drag and drop it to the central window. The old element will be replaced with the new one.

Q: Can I have two or more elements of the same type?
A: No, only one element of this type can be placed on the avatar. If you add an element of the same type, the old one will be replaced with the new one.

Q: What is Resize Object field?
A: With this field you can stretch and squeeze any concrete elements of the avatar. For ex. make lips thinner or thicker.

Q: How to use the Resize Object field?
A: Select an element you want to resize. Drag the circle up and down in the center of the Resize Object field to resize your element vertically; drag it right and left to resize it horizontally.

Q: What is Resize Object field?
A: Click the Manage Avatars button. Then select the avatar you want to edit and click the Load For Editing button.

Q: How to change the color of the element?
A: Each element in the AAS can have up to 3 colors. To change the color, select your element. You'll see the colored buttons in the central part. Click the colored button to change its color. The Color Palette will open. Select your preferred color from the Color Palette.
