Anti-Collusion Efforts at Mahjong Time Protect You

Mahjong Time is Devoted to Ensuring Fair Play

Just about everyone wants one thing when they’re involved in a competition—fairness. At Mahjong Time, we are dedicated to offering our subscribers a safe, secure and fair site where they can enjoy games that are played equitably.

The most common type of collusion occurs when two of more players are communicating during a game, sharing information and misleading other players, the colluding players may hold back tiles, discard tiles that they normally wouldn’t and make plays to help their partner. Fortunately this kind of unwanted play can be eliminated, because indicative playing patterns emerge that allow for its identification. Mahjong Time utilizes some of the finest patent-pending anti-collusion software available that flags unusual plays and suspicious moves. Once a game is flagged, our anti-collusion team studies the contest in question, analyzing each play.

Along with our unending efforts to ensure that Mahjong Time is the fairest site on the Internet, members can also do their part. Every cash game a member plays is saved in their “My Saved Games” archive, which means members can review each of their games at any time:

  1. Login to your Mahjong Time account. View Example

  2. On the top right hand corner of the page you’ll see the “Information” bar. Select “My Saved Games.” (All cash games that you have played are saved to your account) View Example

  3. On My Saved Games screen:
    • Check the “Show only Cash Games” checkbox and search by dates, user name, game id, game name or game type
    • Click Go button View Example View Example

  4. You’ll be taken to the “Search Results” window. Select the name of the game you’d like to review and then click on the “Review” button. View Example

  5. The game you’ve chosen will come up. You’ll be able to review and control it using buttons at the bottom of your screen. View Example
If a member feels that something was amiss in a game, he/she should take some time and review that game. If the subscriber sees suspicious play, they should then contact Mahjong Time. We’ll review the contest and make every effort to determine its validity.

At Mahjong Time we feel that the very best gaming experiences are based on a strict adherence to all rules. We’re serious about identifying and eliminating all cheating. There are severe penalties for unfair play, including exclusion from Mahjong Time for those who are in collusion.

If you play fair, whether you win or lose, you’ve played a good game.
