This month, we are spotlighting a Mahjong Time veteran player Corine Di Doménico (username: batcoco). Corine has been a Mahjong Time player since November of 2006! Corine is a strong MCR player, and has won 2nd place in the 7th Hungarian Open, and 3rd place in the 2011 Reunion Open. We got the chance to ask Corine some questions:

Q: How did you originally discover multiplayer Mahjong?
A: On the web when I wanted to find some information about mahjong.

Q: How often do you play online?
A: Almost every day, except holidays.

Q: How long have you played at Mahjong Time?
A: 6 years

Q: What do you like the most about Mahjong Time?
A: I like mjt because where I live there is nobody to play mahjong with. My only opportunity to play is at mjt.

Q: Tell us more about yourself! What would other Mahjong Time players be surprised to know about you?
A: I live in Gabon during the year, and I go to holiday in France. And it's only during my holidays that I can play tournaments in Hungary, Austria, Italy.... so I play live only 1 or 2 times per year.

Q: Which style of Mahjong do you like best? Why is this your favorite?
A: I play only MCR

Q: What is better: playing live or playing online?
A: Playing live of course but as I have no choice, I play online most of the time and I like it too.

Q: On the subject of online play, what kind of advice would you give to the online player?
A: I have just remark that for few months, a lot of players don’t say anything polite. No "hello", "well done", "Thanks", and I don't like this. A better friendship would be appreciated.
